Take the direct train Regionale direction Domodossola and get off at Stresa (1 hour and 10 minutes). Stresa is 5 km far from Baveno. From Milano Garibaldi Station

TRAVELLING BY AIR
From Milano Malpensa Airport
Malpensa Airport is the nearest airport, located at 45km from Baveno.
The fastest option is taking the Malpensa Express train from the airport to Busto Arsizio, and then change to a direct train toward Domodossola, getting off at Baveno Station.
Do not forget to validate the purchased tickets in the app before the scheduled time of departure of your train.
From Linate Airport
Take the Linate Shuttle Bus (Air Pullman), or a taxi, from Linate Airport to Milan Central Station. The bus ride typically takes around 25-30 minutes, while a taxi ride may take about 15-20 minutes. (see TRAVELLING BY TRAIN / From Milano Central Station above).
From Milan Bergamo Airport
The journey from Milan Bergamo Airport to Baveno by bus takes more than 3 hours. You can take the Autostradale bus from the airport to Milano Central Station and then the train direction Domodossola (see TRAVELLING BY TRAIN / From Milano Central Station above).
